Amsonia tabernaemontana 'Storm Cloud'
Deciduous American native flowering perennial that grows as a 2' tall by 3' wide clump. In spring the plant is covered with a profusion of dazzling sky blue flowers contrasted by deep black stems. Attractive to butterflies. The highlight of the garden when in bloom. Has a yellow/burgundy fall color before going deciduous for added interest. Plant in full sun. Give good drainage and average water. Easy to grow. USDA zones 5-9 in cold hardiness. New!
