Brugmansia suaveolens 'Maya'

Evergreen flowering large shrub or small tree (in zones 9-11) that produces masses of 12" hanging peach trumpet shaped flowers late spring though fall that are especially fragrant at night. Beautiful gray and white variegated foliage makes this the most striking of all Angel's Trumpets. Provides a tropical effect to any garden. Plant in full sun to light shade. Deer resistant. Will die to ground in hard freezes (zones 7-8) but recovers from the roots to grow 6-8' in one season. Eventually forms a large clump due to this cycle, but remains as a single trunked tree in milder climates. USDA zones (7)8-11 in cold hardiness. All parts of the plant are poisonous if ingested!
