Onyx Odyssey - DoubleBlack flowers are a collector's item usually, but in this case "Onyx Odyssey" from the "Winter JewelsTM" series is also a must for every garden. Deep, rich, stunning dark red to jet-black double flowers appear above the foliage winter through May. Like all Hellebores, they are prized for their shade tolerance and deer resistance (all parts are toxic if eaten). They grow best in US Zones 5-8, but will grow in Zone 9 if properly amended. |
