Aster x frikartii 'Moench'
Premier fall blooming aster with classic 2" lavender-purple daisies with yellow centers on loose spikes starting in summer and flowering into fall. Plants grow to around 30" tall and wide. Makes a good cut flower. Cut back after first flowering to get a second go around! Plant in full sun. Give good drainage and average water. Avoid late afternoon or evening watering times. USDA zones 5-9 in cold hardiness.
