Black Diamond - SinglePart of the Winter Jewels TM series, this selection has flowers that range from deep purple-red to jet-black. So unusual in a flower to begin with, this black flower is both rare and beautiful. The flowers appear above the foliage winter through May. Like all Hellebores, they are prized for their shade tolerance and deer resistance (all parts are toxic if eaten). They grow best in US Zones 5-8, but will grow in Zone 9 if amended properly. |
