Iris x louisiana 'Extraordinaire'Evergreen iris native to the southern US producing beautiful 4-6" ruffled violet-purple flowers with a yellow patch near the center of each petal. Foliage grows to 2', the flowers rise above to 30". Vigorous variety. Makes a good cut flower. Plant in full sun in a boggy or even slightly submerged situation. Deer resistant. Easy to grow if kept wet. USDA zones 4-10 in cold hardiness. |
