Helianthus sal. 'Autumn Gold'
Deciduous perennial sunflower growing to only around 24" tall each year producing numerous 3" yellow sunflower daisies on multi-budded stems. Flowers appear August-September. Plant in full sun. Give good drainage and ample water. Does not like to dry out. Avoid overhead sprinklers afternoons-nighttime. Only water in the morning with irrigation. Makes a good cut flower. Deer resistant. Cut to ground in late fall. USDA zones 5-10 in cold hardiness.
