Amsonia 'Blue Ice'
Deciduous American native flowering perennial that grows as a 18" tall by 3' wide clump. In spring the plant is covered with a profusion of dazzling sky blue flowers contrasted by deep lavender buds. The highlight of the garden when in bloom. Attractive to butterflies. It has a bright golden fall color before going deciduous for added interest. Plant in full sun. Give good drainage and average water. Easy to grow. USDA zones 3-9 in cold hardiness.
