Camellia sasanqua 'Mino No Yuki'
Evergreen flowering shrub to around 8' or more and 6' wide producing a profusion of 3" pure white double flowers in fall. One of the most popular varieties of "sun" Camellias on the market. Also called 'White Doves'. Plant in full sun to part shade. Give good drainage and average water. Fertilize with slow release or cottonseed meal in March and again in late summer (1/2 as much). Prune to shape after bloom is finished but before the spring flush occurs (approximately March). Easy to grow. Watch for scale insects. USDA zones 7-10 in cold hardiness.
