Camellia sasanqua 'Agalia'

Evergreen flowering shrub to around 8' tall or more and 6' wide producing a profusion of 3" shell pink peony form flowers in fall. One of the larger flowers of "sun" Camellias on the market. Widely used as a screen or background planting. Plant in full sun to part shade. Give good drainage and average water. Fertilize with slow release or cottonseed meal in March and again in late summer (1/2 as much). Prune to shape after bloom is finished but before the spring flush occurs (approximately March). Easy to grow. Watch for scale insects. USDA zones 7-10 in cold hardiness.
