Camellia sasanqua 'Dream Weaver'
Evergreen flowering shrub to around 6' tall or more and 6' wide producing a profusion of 2 1/2" pink flowers fading to white which creates a two colored flower with a pink flower in the center and a white one at the base. One of the more unique flowers of "sun" Camellias on the market. Widely used as a screen or background planting. Plant in full sun to part shade. Give good drainage and average water. Fertilize with slow release or cottonseed meal in March and again in late summer (1/2 as much). Prune to shape after bloom is finished but before the spring flush occurs (approximately March). Easy to grow. Watch for scale insects. USDA zones 7-10 in cold hardiness. New introduction!
