Egyptian Queen

There are many day lilies out there with this color combination, but here is what makes "Egyptian Queen" so special. This tetraploid hybrid has an extra large flower up to 7" across that are produced on stalks with up to 40 flowers on each stalk! The apricot petals and extra large crimson eye is a great contrast. It is a super performer in the garden and will re-bloom throughout the summer and fall season, including right up to the first killing freeze. And for the southern climates, it is evergreen. US Zone 5-10 in hardiness.
