Painted - DoubleWhat a great contrast 'Painted Doubles' has between the pure white petals and the rose-red center patch. Another of the 'Winter Jewels' tm series, this one has a classic color combo that is sure to please. The flowers appear winter through May. Like all Hellebores, they are prized for their shade tolerance and deer resistance (all parts are toxic if eaten). They grow best in US zones 5-8, but will grow in zone 9 if amended properly. |
